LCEDN was funded to provide a hub for academics, government bodies and others to identify common interests, share ideas and information and expand research capacity around low-carbon development in the countries of the Global South
The inaugural two day meeting of the UK Low Carbon Technologies for Development Network (LCEDN), promises to be a fascinating experience with participants drawn from across a massive diversity of academic communities, government departments, private sector organizations and NGOs, as well as a wide range of different countries including India, Bangladesh, Nepal, Guatemala, Brazil, Nicaragua, Tanzania, Nigeria and South Africa.
